AIR PAD BASED STACKERS

Platfoms on air pads (see front) may be supplied with stacker behaviour, to allow handling of loads on special pallets or on wedges.

HOW IT WORKS

I. - Gap recovery with
pneumatic jacks

II. - Gap recovery with
wedges

1. - Platform is moved under the load with air pads levitated
2. - Jacks are inflated
3. - Invert operations for unloading

1. - Platform is moved under the load with air pads levitated
2. - Air pads are shut off
3. - Wedges are put in position to cover the distance between the platform and the load
4. - Air pads are levitated and loads is moved
5. - Invert operations for unloading on support wedges
